Urgent: We Need Your Help, Please.....
The annual JV Wrestling Tournament will once again be hosted by Patterson Mill High School on Saturday, February 4th.  The PMAB is in need of volunteers who can work concessions during any one of the shifts below:
  8:00 am - 10:00 am
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Although this is a Wrestling event, the concession profits go to supporting all of the Patterson Mill athletic teams so the PMAB is looking for anyone that can assist.
The Athletic Boosters have been supportive of all teams by paying for extra trainer time on campus, banners, plaques, awards, fan buses, equipment, team projects, and they are working on purchasing new uniforms for each team on a rotating schedule.
Our ability to get volunteers not associated with Wrestling will allow our parents and supporters of the PM Wrestling team to see them
perform.
If you are willing to help out with this event, please email Greg Golczewski and Courtney West with your name, phone number, and your 1st and 2nd choices for the above time slots.
Thank you very much in advance of supporting the Wrestling Squad and the PMAB!!!!
The PMAB would also like to thank our volunteers who worked concessions at the 2012 Husky Invitational Cheerleading Competition, which raised about $1,000 to apply towards the many needs of the Husky athletic program.

A Letter from the President
Time to let out a little known secret.  This year, because of the efforts of some incredible individuals, the athletic boosters have been able to purchase
the following items for our teams:
- Girls Basketball uniforms
- Baseball uniforms
- Replacement of 6 damaged JV baseball uniforms
- Girls Lacrosse uniforms
- Baseball Regional Champion banner
- Individual State Champion Banner
- Plaques to recognize our Cesky Winners, Individual UCBAC Champions, Individual Regional Champions, and Harford County Champions
- Swim team banner
- Contribution to Wrestling mat light
- Facilitate the purchase of Baseball scoreboard
- Extra days of Athletic Trainer each week
- Concessions supplies (we are getting a popcorn machine and a hotdog roller--approved for purchase)
- Membership incentives
- Merchandise inventory (we have a lot of fun new spirit wear due to arrive soon!!!)
- Laptop/software (to enable complete financial record keeping as well as all minutes, etc.--approved for purchase)
- Minimum of two $500 scholarships (we hope to have more if the bingo does well)
All that in just the past 4 months thanks to successful fundraising in concessions, spirit wear, membership and the fall bull roast!  And we hope to do soooo
much more before the school year ends, but a lot of what more we can do depends on the success of our next big fundraiser.
It's time to roll up our sleeves and get moving on the PMAB Basket Bingo!!!  The bingo is scheduled for Friday, March 16th. I'm getting excited about this
(really, honestly!) because I truly believe that this will be our biggest money maker this year.  I have organized several bingos for various sports groups
in the past and know that with a good core group of individuals this event can be a huge success!!!
We will be having our first planning meeting next week and I would like to invite you to join me.
Tuesday, January 24th
6:30 pm
Media Center
Get the word out and invite some buddies who you know would like to help make this bingo the best that Patterson Mill has ever seen!!!  There is very little
that feels as good as knowing that you have made a difference in children's lives!!!  Helping our student athletes stay involved in something positive like
sports truly does make a difference!!!
Please let me know if you will be able to attend or if you would like to help with this event.
Blessings,
Courtney West

Bull & Oyster Roast raises $6,000
On Friday, November 18th, the Patterson Mill Athletic Boosters hosted their annual Bull & Oyster Roast at the Jarrettsville Gardens.  In addition to enjoying great food, music, and fun, the PMAB succeeded in raising $6,000 to help support the Husky athletic programs at Patterson Mill.
This event could not have been successful without the generous support of its volunteers, guests, contributors, and annual sponsors.
In today's reality of ever-tightening budgets, every dollar invested by supporters in the future our students is deeply appreciated.  Thank you!!!  Thank you!!!  Thank you!!!
